Monday 14th August 7pm to 8pm - Free
This online (Zoom) talk will be given by Andrew Fielding, co-director of not-for-profit organisation ECOSAL-UK.
Andrew will examine how brine was delivered from brine pit to salt houses and compare Nantwich with Northwich, Middlewich and other salt works, exploring salt heritage infrastructure rather than brine boiling.
Being part of the Museum’s Summer of Science festival there will be some physics, process engineering, batch production and 3D modelling to describe these elements over time and place.
